The 25 foot x 40 foot HO scale Verdugo Valley Lines portrays 1950s Southern Pacific operations between downtown Los Angeles and Bakersfield. Intermediate stations represented are San Fernando, Saugus, Lancaster, Mojave and Caliente. Represented facilities include the Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal and supporting coach yards, roundhouse, diesel facilities, Taylor Yard, the Glendale Station and the City of Burbank. http://www.gmrrc.org/ Civil War Reenactment, May 19, 2018, Orange Empire Railway Museum, Perris Step back in time and see what life was like during the War Between the States. Visit the encampments of the Union and Confederate Armies. See what life was like in the civilian camp. Watch one of several battles throughout the day. Ride the vintage train and trolleys. Train and trolleys will be available from 11:00 until 4:00. If you did not purchase an all-day ride pass with your admission ticket you may upgrade your ticket at the museum gift shop. This is a gated event; admission is $7 per person for ages 12 & up and $5 for ages 4 – 11. Admission is included with an all-day ride pass which is $12 for ages 12 & up and $8 for ages 5 – 11.
